Our city facilities are outdated and too costly to upgrade.

• If the Utilities Users Tax passes, I will advocate reducing the tax rate to the absolute minimum that satisfies the bond obligation and launching a citizens’ oversight committee to guarantee full transparency.

• If the Tax does not pass, I will work with City Council and staff to find alternative funding avenues to build the facilities our community needs and deserves.

Marina has waited too long for a youth sports complex.

As a former coach and official, I've seen firsthand how organized sports build character, keep kids active, and unite our community. It's time to start evaluating locations to build a multi-sport facility our families deserve.

Marina leads the Monterey Peninsula in providing affordable housing, but our workforce still needs a place to call home.

Workforce housing will provide homeownership opportunities for our local workforce (such as teachers and service staff) who earn too much for traditional low-income subsidies but cannot afford high-priced single family homes. Cypress Knolls has been identified as a potential solution. Let's stay focused and secure cleanup grants to begin the transformation of this area into a thriving community that our local workforce can afford to live in.

The CalAM desalination project poses a threat to the City of Marina's drinking water and coastline.

We cannot permit a project to move forward that prioritizes corporate profits while providing no benefits to the residents living in Marina. I will support the fight to protect our shores, safeguard our water supply and ensure our community's voice is heard.

I believe responsible economic growth creates opportunity and strengthens our community.

I will support local businesses, encourage job creation and promote investment in infrastructure. Together we can build a stronger, more prosperous, inclusive and sustainable Marina where families, businesses and future generations can thrive.
